ADG wins second Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Africa award

Partner of the Year

[JOHANNESBURG], April 22, 2026Accelera Digital Group (ADG) announced today that it has been named the 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Sub-Saharan Africa. The winner of the 2025 African partner of the year award, the company plays a strategic role in driving Google Cloud’s expansion and consumption across the continent.

ADG focuses on delivering foundational infrastructure and advanced AI/ML capabilities to enable the next generation of African businesses.

“The Google Cloud Partner Awards honour the strategic innovation and measurable value our partners bring to customers,” says Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels, Google Cloud. “We are proud to name ADG a 2026 Google Cloud Partner Award winner, celebrating their role in driving customer success over the last year.”

“ADG's expertise spans core infrastructure, data analytics, and cutting-edge Gen AI, providing results that clearly align with and support Google Cloud's expansion and measurable impact across Africa,” says Cliff de Wit, Chief Innovation Officer at ADG. “Our success is measured by the tangible growth and transformative outcomes we help our customers achieve.”

ADG has continued to deliver transformative cloud solutions over the past year for African businesses.

  • ADG addressed a critical operational challenge for one of Africa’s largest fintech companies Moniepoint: the unsustainable manual verification of proof-of-address documents. Moniepoint’s know-your-customer (KYC) team had grown from 26 to 60 staff members, yet still struggled to maintain its SLA compliance rate. ADG delivered an automated document verification system (DVS), utilising Google Cloud’s AI/ML services that reduced the percentage of documents requiring manual review from 85% to 10-15% and improved its SLA compliance rate to 95%.
  • ADG worked with InTouch Group to rearchitect and modernise its platform and design an optimised and cost-efficient data pipeline using Google Cloud technologies. This helped the fintech player, which operates in 27 countries, to resolve challenges with performance and escalating costs on its payment processing platform.

Says De Wit, “Our newly established marketing transformation practice, which focuses on data and Generative AI solutions for marketing functions, has landed new workloads in several key African enterprises. ADG remains committed to help businesses scale, innovate, and create impact across the continent through Google Cloud’s technology with our local expertise.”
